I love utilizing bold wallpaper patterns in small spaces. This combination of the Teal Blue, green and the black furniture; makes such elegant statement. This is an example of a pattern that is trendy and will be around for a while. The mix of old and new lines is just fresh and pretty!

Traditional at heart is my personal style...feeling comfortable and surrounded by the things I adore; makes me happy! This little reading nook is decorated so beautifully and cozy, one of my favorites indeed. The over scale pattern is in perfect harmony with the space. On of the ingredients is the mix of textures, such as the bamboo shades and distribution of color and patterns. This reading nook is perfect to read a love story novel...

our breakfast area was just remodel and our worn out but beautiful Moroccan style seat cushions need to be updated by may be one of these. Elegant stripes and squares style comfy seats is just what we need. A stronger color might be a good idea, but I love the blue spa/brown/gold combo!

I just adore these custom wind chair style bed...Love the entire color assemble, which is a combination of green and pink. These two tones looked hard to combined but finding the damask pattern, it as easy to find a coordinating solid silk. Having such big bed requires a substantially big room. One trick of the eye is the paint on the walls. The tones are very calming and elegant, to help you relax!

Can't wait until fall. My favorite time of the season...here in Florida, the weather turns beautiful. A fresh breeze of air enters the atmosphere and we actually can open house windows and let the air in. We can turn off our AC's and breath fresh air. Fall is the season for dinners and gatherings, for planning our holiday shopping and time to have good meals. Which brings me to this flower centerpiece...these are just yellow mums we car purchase at our local home depot!

There's nothing more refreshing that the color lavender...also the aroma. These cute handmade pillows are a cute way of representing a field of flowers. The detail is in mixing the ribbons and buttons, overlapping them to make an interesting pattern. Here's what you need:

Love this idea of collecting bottles...if you have or find old bottles of milk, or perfume or even liquor one, keep them. Bottles may have a very special design and can make a nice decorative accessory, plus is another way to recycle!

Thank you Suzi for sending pictures of your chandelier. The Modern Drum chandelier shades look great. They go so well with the curtains and the shape of shades makes perfect harmony with lighting fixture. Every chandelier is different and requires different shapes and sizes. When placing an order on Dress My Shade through Etsy, leave a detail message on convo and also an image.
Bravo Suzi, thanks!

I am getting the itch for change...it's time to re-do some rooms in the house. The paint on the walls look worn out or faded. The Curtains are an old Robert Allen Silk/Taffeta and I want a fresh look. Have to mix the old with the new, meaning, furniture stays. I have to be creative, for example, my dining room chairs are from Design Masters, they are super comfortable parsons chairs with beautiful modern exposed lets, think I will do a slip cover and call it new. The color palette will be a green/yellow or may be a mint green/yellow.
Got to get inspired...

Mirror Mirror on the wall...There's a big difference when an accessory is place in its proper place. In the showroom, we try to display the merchandise in the most eclectic and fun way we can. However, when this mirror finds its home, its pure art.

Sometimes when we cannot find the right art piece because of simples reasons such as color, for example, try to think out of the box. Utilising fabric or even wall paper as art is the solution. Cut the pieces and take them to the local framer, and you are done. This idea is great for those of us who likes to change things around very often!
