I'm wishing for a happy, peacefully, prosperous and healthy NEW 2011 YEAR...for all...wishing for tragedies to end, no war, just happiness and understanding...wishing I could wear one pair of hill like this...

Bling-Bling all night long and enjoy every single day!

Happy New Year!

"Ourdoor Decorations"...for christmas

I love these images because of the mix of old outdoor items!  This shabby chic style is warm and elegant and by using items we already have in our homes, makes it easier on our wallet.  The tones are very soft, with whites mostly but we can also add some pastels. Using  real ivy plants, holiday greens, pine cones & topiary, will add a true organic Christmas...

"Dressing Up a Lamp"...for christmas

Dressing up a lamp for Christmas is so much fun...
I especially love this image because of the simplicity and the lampshade.  An old photo or new, is such a warm detail to look at before you go to bed.

Enjoy this Monday!

"Pillow Talk"...for the holidays

Wishing a happy Friday to all of you.  Here is how to dress up any pillows for the holidays...just use a rich silk ribbon.  Finding the perfect color might not be as difficult as you think.  Use gold or silver, red or an emerald green.  It's just for fun...

"Do Me A Favor"...

Do me a favor!...leave your guest a nice and simple favor at the dinner table.  Dressing up a table is a project as complicated as decorating a room.  I'm just kidding!  As we can see in image, a simple red and white country china looks just about presentation and the meaning behind it. I wonder what's inside the box?

Happy Wednesday...

"Letter Project"...for christmas

What an adorable way to dress up a fireplace.  In my case I will substitute crafting paper by a much stronger palette of reds, greens and golds.  These over scale letters can be purchase at our local craft store.  They come in raw wood and can be easily transformed into a conversational piece.  Letters can be painted, you may cover them with scrap booking paper, even Christmas gift wrapping paper!

Happy-Safe Monday...

"Dressing Candles"...for dinner

For these holiday season, I think of going organic all the way!   Tell me these veggies don't look good enough to dress up plain white candles.  Look into BHG magazine. It's a great idea to dress up our dining table...
