"New Metal Floor Lamp:

In love with above floor lamp, constructed completely of metal...one of the new trends about this last market was introducing or combining metal work to furniture.  Chandeliers made out of wood and metal, with a rustic shabby chic look where among other items which caught my eye.  There were lots of washed woods, whether oaks or pine, the distressed look is strong and defined.  Mixed with matte silver and golds, its casual/elegant style is a clash of the old and the new!

"Lighting Drama"...

Lighting is such an important part of interior design...Adding Drama with lighting can be presented with any design style.  No matter how whimsical you are or your particular taste, when it comes to chandeliers for example I must go all the way.  I must think out of the box and try to find the most beautiful or conversational fixture.  From a wall reading lamp, to a bubble chandelier, these pieces must be within scale.  If they are too plain, dress them up.  Visit our website www.dressmyshade.com for fabric, trims and ideas.

"Market Finds"...lighting

Absolutely find this Maison's Italian gilded sconce just beautiful.  This 3 light fixture is designed by Tara Shaw and it is handcrafted from wood and metal.  The gold leaf  gives the sconce this ancient authentic elegant and gracefully look.
