I love these images because of the mix of old outdoor items!  This shabby chic style is warm and elegant and by using items we already have in our homes, makes it easier on our wallet.  The tones are very soft, with whites mostly but we can also add some pastels. Using  real ivy plants, holiday greens, pine cones & topiary, will add a true organic Christmas...

Do me a favor!...leave your guest a nice and simple favor at the dinner table.  Dressing up a table is a project as complicated as decorating a room.  I'm just kidding!  As we can see in image, a simple red and white country china looks exquisite...is just about presentation and the meaning behind it. I wonder what's inside the box?

"Letter Project"...for christmas

What an adorable way to dress up a fireplace.  In my case I will substitute crafting paper by a much stronger palette of reds, greens and golds.  These over scale letters can be purchase at our local craft store.  They come in raw wood and can be easily transformed into a conversational piece.  Letters can be painted, you may cover them with scrap booking paper, even Christmas gift wrapping paper!
