"Color Trends"...

Love the idea of combining strong colors such as orange and hot pink with white furniture. As long as the main pieces of furniture are neutral, there is nothing wrong throwing a splash of color. This cube lacquered table is just adorable as side or coffee table.

Outdoor lighting is as important inside of our homes as well as the outside. When combined with casual outdoor decorations, why not...Loving the pineapple lamps, made just this type of weather elements. Details such as the rug, coffee table and all the natural flowers, make this space cozy and so relaxing.

Designing a baby's room is not a challenge, it's a joy...Whether it's in bold colors or what ever theme is inspired on, they describe the parents style. I love traditional/old fashion fabrics such as a soft white picket mixed with gingham. I also love embroidery for blankets and pillow shams, just like in the image.

An adjustable lighting fixture... is a great idea to utilize in a project when necessary. The height of the lighting can be adjusted as desired. Commonly used over a bar area or even an dining table.

I love the old patina and mostly its functions!

"Black and White"...

Black and White are colors that anchors a room in a very elegant but simplistic way. Since I love Toile patters so much, I decided to share a few of my latest favorite furniture's and accessories. I absolutely love this square and kidney pillows from Vrugs...from the geometric concept to the strong mustard tones of the flowers! These pillows will look sharp on a white sofa or with a chocolate brown ultra suede fabric.

"Palm Beach Style"...other spaces

I only wish to take better photos...here is part of the family room or sitting room. Grass cloth walls was accented by a large fresco of a shell. Plantation shutters were a must for this project. A busy blue striped sofa and accent pillows make the space very casual and inviting.

"Palm Beach Style"...the entrance

More images of the very small entry way of a nautical style bungalow house in Palm Beach. Three important pieces of furniture give the entrance a hint of what's to come. The coat rack is made with three paddles with a small lifesaver in the middle. On the opposite side, a small high back pine bench fills the space just right. Above, found a nautical carving that picks up the color scheme throughout the house.

"Palm Beach Style"...nautical

This entire week I wanted to post these images of a Palm Beach Nautical - Cottage Style project with a simplistic yet elegant-casual style. The entry door and shutters were painted with a vivid green color, accented by two very large square planters. Native Florida plants make a nice contrast against the pale yellow fasade. To finish the project, two large iron pineapple sconces were installed for a tropical look.

"Pillow Talk"...needle point

Needle Point pillows are so gorgeous and timeless. This comfy chair anchors a corner of the room. It was re-upholstered with a Clarenhouse Fabric and a lumbar size pillow place not only for back support but for its meaning. I enjoy using needle point pillows every time I can, especially when a homeowner has a triple treasure running around the house!

"Twin Beds"...

Most of the time, when decorating a room with twin beds there is no option but to utilize a white bedroom set. Not...see what a striking difference using an alternative color does. By using black furniture, the color of the lamp and bedding's pops out. The best way to coordinate and off set the red tones is white!
