"Mural For Baby"...

My sister is expecting another baby, so here are some ideas for another mural...This particular room was decorated for a boy but never mind what you see. Since the new baby is a girl, colors can be change and the introduction of more pinks is definitely recommended.
Just having fun again...
ciao!

"Leu Gardens Visit"...

Visiting Orlando, Florida is not just about Disney parks. They're so many other places to visit and appreciate the spectacular Old Florida. Few weeks ago, I spend few days in Central Florida. We discovered The Leu House museum and their gardens. They have the largest formal rose garden in Florida. The largest Camellia collection in the South. Their beautiful landscapes are to die for. Hearing the noise of the streams and the birds singing was a joy!
Go visit!

"tables"...stack them up

I've used stacking tables in my designs for the longest time. One thing I like about them is it's compact size and the ability to split them up. It's an adjustable accent furniture that has style, scale and beauty!

"My favorite"...

Chandelier right now is this modern-elegant and very simple drum shade. The texture of the outer layer is this type of metal sequence, like little matches. I can just imagine what it looks like when the light is on!!!

"Decorating With Shells"...modern-nautical

Lately, I love more and more to decorate with shells, corals and any other items from the bottom of the sea. One of the things I like about this style is the freshness and natural aspects of it. Clearly, image shows a modern style with a twist of nautical...
Enjoy this Monday!

"Pillow Talk"...window cushions

A wall to wall window seat! Why not...Another Friday Pillow Talk segment I wanted to make a point of dressing up a narrow space such as a window seat. Using contrasting colors, the strong navy textures mixed with the bright yellow and saddle, makes this design very bold and elegant.
You can take a room for example, that is narrow and add this architectural detail. Think if you have an upstairs room or office.
Imagine the possibilities...happy Friday to all.

"A dream laundry room"...

A dream laundry room in my opinion is just what's on this image. Plenty of counter space, warm rustic floor tile, a very hip tile work, plenty of storage and pretty baskets. I love the soft blue pallet color of the cabinets, it make space so fresh.
I may change my mind about laundry!

"Monday, Monday"...

Wow...I'm posting pretty late today. I never like Mondays. Mondays is the day everyone has an issue and I most make the best to bite my lips and solve it. Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind a bite of these muffins!

"Pillow Talk"...mixing colors

I normally decorate using light colors in the summer and spring time and dark ones in the fall and winter...but couldn't help myself to pick this pillow for this Fridays blog. Love the strong chocolate browns mixed with the pretty defined turquoise. The envelope pillow has very large fabric covered buttons for dimension. Pillow shown intentionally sideways with a soft nit ted throw.
Happy Friday!

"Sconces and More"...

Instead of hanging a large piece of art between sconces, why not make a collage of art with different artifacts such as the plaques shown. Dress up the shades with a custom lamp shade. Any questions about shades just leave a comment!

"A Window Treatment Solution"...

Here's an excellent solution way for a window treatment when openings are small and odd. A plantation shutter is a simple and elegant idea which provides privacy without any textiles involved. I like the symmetry, color, wood tones and overall style of this space.

What a refreshing way to start our summer re-decorating!
